Our day program is community inclusion based, which means that we prioritize the active involvement of the individuals we serve in creating and participating in a diverse range of activities. Every month, our participants take part in the exciting process of creating a dynamic calendar of outings that caters to their interests and desires. We believe in empowering our community members to take charge of their own experiences and make choices that enrich their lives.
One of the activities that our community members thoroughly enjoy is going bowling. The sound of pins crashing and the friendly competition among friends create an atmosphere of pure joy and camaraderie. Another favorite activity is painting ceramics, where our participants can unleash their creativity and express themselves through vibrant colors and unique designs. The process of transforming a plain ceramic piece into a personalized work of art is not only satisfying but also serves as a platform for self-expression and self-discovery. Karaoke parties are another highlight of our program. Our participants love to showcase their singing talents, whether they are belting out their favorite tunes or simply enjoying the lively ambiance and infectious energy of the event. The joy and laughter that fill the room during these karaoke sessions are truly contagious.
Our program also includes regular visits to the mall for shopping excursions. Browsing through the stores, trying on different outfits, and finding that perfect item creates a sense of fulfillment and satisfaction. For movie enthusiasts, our program offers the chance to catch the latest releases at the cinema, allowing our participants the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of storytelling and cinema magic. We also enjoy regular visits to Tanganyika Wildlife Park, where our participants have the opportunity to interact with and feed animals. Exploring the vast wildlife and learning about different species fosters a sense of appreciation and respect for the natural world.
Our Day Service program takes advantage of the rich offerings of Wichita, providing our members with the opportunity to explore the city and discover its hidden gems. From historical landmarks to vibrant cultural events, our participants get to experience the diverse and vibrant atmosphere of the city they call home.
T-Shirt Design Contest!
Our members had a great time participating in our Paradigm T-Shirt Design contest. Everyone had the opportunity to enter by submitting their best design representing Paradigm Services, Inc. Many of the designs feature Piper, our resident pup and active participant of our Wichita Day Program. We love seeing the creativity and unique vision that each of our members has for Paradigm Services, Inc.!
